Makini Magee has been singing in the Seattle area since 1989. She has wowed jazz enthusiasts from the neighborhood bistros to Jazz Alley, as well as performing nationally. Makini has also performed and shared the stage with national recording artists Winton Marcellas and Roy Ayers. She has opened up for Maya Angelou and national recording artist Lenny Williams. Makini’s love for different styles of music is apparent. Makini has performed for radio, television and live theater. Currently, Makini is the vocalist for "Lunch Money", a swing band with "Big Band" sound, and th vocalist for the band "Soul Food" Her engaging smooth delivery is reminiscent of a time when Jazz was King.
Owuor Arunga is a world renowned trumpet player. Owuor attended Garfield High school and was the first chair trumpet player in what is the most prestigious high school jazz band in the country. He has sold over 27 million records according to the International Academy of America. Owuor has performed on the largest stages in the world with artists such as Madonna, Lil John, Jennifer Hudson and The Heavy to name a few.

Genieva Arunga is a political activist, Spoken Word Artist, Linguist and Writer. Born in Kisumu, Kenya and raised in Seattle, Washington, at the age of fourteen, Geneiva worked for African Youth United to build her bond between her African roots and her American location. Since then Geneiva has been writing poetry and raps for the purpose of bringing people together and addressing various social issues that plague her Seattle community and the globe. Geneiva has shared stages with artists such as Amanda Diva, Base Nectar, Dead Prez and Macklemore. She has performed at venues including Vera Project, Showbox and The Experience Music Project (EMP).
